The Spring Caravan & Camping Show, at the NEC in Birmingham from 19th – 24th February, is a brand new event on the calendar offering the chance to buy and browse all the latest mid season launches direct from the major manufacturers and leading dealers.

Occupying halls 1 – 4 of the Central England venue (over 60,000 sq m), it's the UK's biggest start of season showcase with all sectors of the caravan and camping market represented. Take in the very latest holiday homes, a wide choice of parks and new season tents as well as caravans, motorhomes, conversions, folding campers and trailer tents. There will also be the chance to visit the Show's accessory megastores and stock up on outdoor leisure holiday essentials, many at 'show-only' prices.

Celebrating everything that is 'great' about the great outdoors, the Show features free, fun feature areas offering you the chance to 'have a go' at activities such as climbing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and water zorbing or to get up close and personal with wildlife and creepy crawlies, courtesy of Dudley Zoological Gardens.

Each day of the Show will welcome a well-known television or sporting expert who'll share first hand their knowledge and experiences in live at-show presentations. Experts include 'Operation Iceberg's' Andy Torbet (Tuesday 19th); cook, author and broadcaster Valentine Warner (Wednesday 20th), outdoor and wildlife TV presenters Kate Humble (Thursday 21st), Nick Baker (Friday 22nd), and Julia Bradbury (Saturday 23rd), as well as slalom canoeists and London 2012 Olympic Gold Medallists Tim Baillie MBE and Etienne Stott MBE (Sunday 24th).

The Caravan Club will be staging free motorhome manoeuvring courses with the chance to receive useful tips from their experts. Members can enjoy a day of special guests and entertainment on the Caravan Club Lounge on Club Day (Tuesday 19th) including performances from Strictly Come Dancing duo Vincent and Flavia.

The Camping and Caravanning Club is also supporting the new Show and is running free towing experience sessions, in association with Volvo, offering first timers and experienced hands the chance to obtain expert advice from behind the wheel. They'll also be using opening day as the springboard for the launch of an exciting new initiative across all Club sites with a very special guest appearance from a TV favourite (Tuesday 19th at 1pm). Exclusive to the Spring Show is 'Friendly Friday' (Friday 20th), which sees the Club offer on the door member ticket discounts, on stand activities and special guests.

The Show is a fantastic, fun filled half term day out for all the family as well as the best place to book, browse or buy everything you need for great value holidays in the great outdoors.

Advance tickets* cost £8 for adults (£10 on the door) and £7 for seniors over 60 years (£9 on the door) with children aged 15 years and under admitted free of charge. Tickets include parking and a free comprehensive show guide. To book tickets visit the show website
